Island Fair-Dozens of booths featuring handicrafts, foodstuff, candy and produce of every conceivable variety from each of the different Okinawa Prefecture islands will be on display-and for sale-at the new fair site.

There’s also a chance for visitors to absorb an exhibition about Okinawa, complete with photographs and sanshin music. Entertainment during the festival includes folk

songs known as shimauta,  and Okinawa traditional entertainment.
