Naminoue Beach
Naminoue Beach is a man-made beach in Naha City, and the only area within the city where swimming in the ocean is sanctioned. That’s why it’s very busy in the summertime. The beach is within a walking distance from downtown Naha, and tourists staying at hotels in Naha often come to the beach, and some even play there to the last moment before taking the flight off the island. Since 2013, the area of Naminoue beach has been greatly expanded, and now people can barbeque, dive and snorkel at the beach area.
