“Nakagusuku Park” is located at near the UNESCO registered World Heritage Site, Nakagusuku Castle.

The park, managed by the Okinawa Prefecture, was build to commemorate the history, nature, and culture of Okinawa. The park covers a total area of 98.9 hectares, which is four times the size of the Shuri Castle Park in Naha.

The park has a huge slide, trampoline, and sand box big enough for more than 30 kids to play. Many families come to the park on weekends.

Even adults can join the fun and jump on the trampoline. As there aren’t any coffee shop, kiosks or convenience stores around park, visitors often bring their own lunch when they come and have a picnic.
