Nakagusuku Castle
Nakagusuku castle is one of the best preserved castles in Okinawa. Located in Kita-Nakagusuku and Nakagusuku village, about 20 kilometers north of Naha, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view from the castle over the Pacific Ocean in the east and East China Sea to the west. Baten Fishing Port can be seen to the south; the Kerama and Zamami islands to the west; and Kudaka Island to the southeast.
