The large green grassy area along the west coast of Onna Village is called Manzamo. It is a field created on ancient coral reefs, and said to be capable of seating 10,000 people. The ocean is 50 meters below the field, and the sights and sounds of crashing waves are hard to describe. The rare plants in this area are designated as protected species by the Okinawa Prefecture.
