Go-ya
Go-ya is often called “the King of Okinawan Vegetables.”
They are really popular in whole Japan. Although it may look a little bit scary to some and tastes bitter, it is very rich in Vitamin C.
Goya is usually eaten as “Champuru,” a friend mix of goya and other ingredients. Go-ya is said to help people to stand the intense summer heat better.
