Yukata is an informal cotton kimono for the summer season, in other words, it’s a traditional summer dress for women and girls. There is also yukata for men, but jinbei is more popular for summer men’s outfit. You can see many Japanese people wearing Yukata or Jinbei at any of the summer festivals.
